Fixes and Improvements

Admin - Controls

• Implemented dynamic filename configuration per category, allowing administrators to define standardized naming rules.

• Introduced Download filename & Sync Filename fields with configurable recipes tailored for different customers.

• Filename mapping field now relabeled to “Filename on First Upload” will be available during network creation with Mandatory and Filename Setting options enabled by default, and restricted from deletion to ensure consistent filename configuration.

• Migrated Admin Controls services (custom fields, sections, categories, and configurations) to WebAPI for improved performance and maintainability.

Document & Data Management

• Users can now download files using the default filename defined for the category, ensuring consistency across documents..

• Enhancements applied across both Web and Sync, ensuring a consistent download experience across platforms.

• Bulk Download: Enhanced bulk download to append RID to filenames when multiple records share the same name, ensuring uniqueness and preventing file conflicts

• Enhanced version control behavior for complex/multi-threaded records.

• Migrated document preview, job status, bulk lock/unlock and reporting services to WebAPI for faster and more reliable data retrieval.

BIM Viewer

• Added user name initials to annotations for improved identification and enabled Activity History tracking for add/update annotation events.

Workflow

• Migrated Workflow services from WCF to WebAPI, including workflow actions, responses, templates, notifications, and management operations.

Search

• Migrated search services from WCF to WebAPI, enabling faster response times and improved handling of search queries.

Security

• Resolved password reset loop across network URLs.

• Fixed access control issues for edit permissions.

Sync & AutoCAD

• Sync – Filename: Updated sync behavior to use the default sync filename configured at the category level, ensuring consistent and standardized file naming during synchronization.

• Batch Upload: Fixed an issue where uniqueness validation was not enforced during batch uploads, ensuring duplicate values are correctly identified and prevented

• AutoCAD – Batch Upload: Added new columns including Subfile Type, First File Uploaded By, Version Comment, and Tree Config Source in the generated sheet to improve metadata visibility and tracking during batch uploads.

• Implemented WebAPI-based Sync and SignalR services for enhanced real-time notifications and synchronization.

Bulk Version Up

• Migrated bulk version-up processing from Windows Services to WebAPI, including email notifications, improving performance, reliability, and system scalability.
